Consulting Engineers and Architects
Associated (CEA) was established in February,
1979, by Neville Kotagama, a senior Highway Engineer.
The aim of this engineering consultancy firm was
to undertake multi-disciplinary consultancy work
with emphasis on the Highways & Transport,
Architecture & Urban Planning, Environment
Management & Social Science, and Water Resources
& Irrigation sectors. CEA is a member of the
International Federation of Consulting Engineers
(FIDIC) and The Association of Consulting Engineers
Sri Lanka (ACESL).
The firm was incorporated in
2007 as a Limited Liability Company and CEA offices
are located in Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte, the
administrative capital of the country. A majority
of the shareholders and the management of the
company are Engineers. Besides, a number of experts
in associated fields of environmental, social
and agriculture are available on a regular basis.
CEA is a multidisciplinary organization
and provides complete, comprehensive and integrated
consultancy services in the fields of Highway
Engineering, Transportation, Urban Development,
Water and Sanitary Engineering, Architecture,
Buildings, Environmental and Social Impact Assessments
and related facilities. The services embrace all
aspects of infrastructure development and rehabilitation
projects, both urban and rural. The firm has experienced
and qualified Engineers, Architects, other Professionals
and support staff together with the ready availability
of services of a large number of Specialist Consultants.
CEA aims to provide comprehensive
consultancy services to all clients integrating
the various disciplines necessary to carry out
projects from inception to successful completion.
The firm places importance to providing an economical
service to the clients and lays emphasis on the
appropriate design procedures and efficient Contract
and Construction Management Services to ensure
successful and speedy completion of the projects.
We have the necessary expertise at management
level to identify and intervene early to take
corrective actions in the unlikely event of any
potential problems in our assignments.
